Get ready! YouTuber Content for Children and Families It will be difficult to make money from Adsense

YouTube has tightened its policies for YouTubers who like to produce child and family content.  Starting in November, the video streaming platform says that channels with content made for children must adhere to a more stringent set of guidelines if they want to continue to earn adsense.

This new policy is intended to prevent child creators from uploading videos that are highly commercial or promotional in nature.  In addition, they can no longer produce videos that encourage negative behaviors, such as bullying, dishonesty, disrespect for others, harmful jokes, unhealthy eating habits, and more.

If the channel violates these guidelines, YouTube may suspend it from the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) and receive limited or no advertising.  This will certainly affect the adsense income from videos made by YouTubers of child and family content with a large number of viewers.

We’re committed to helping creators for kids and families succeed on YouTube.  Creating content for kids is an exciting opportunity, but we want to make sure creators are aware of our guidelines for videos that reach this young, impressionable audience.

The difference between high-quality and low-quality children’s YouTube video content

In the new guidelines, YouTube also details what aspects of high and low quality children’s and family video content are rated.  If content created for kids is in line with the principle of high quality, there will be more benefits, from adsense to exposure.

Meanwhile, video content that falls under the principle of low quality, will find it difficult to benefit from advertising, it is not recommended to watch until it is not included on the YouTube Kids platform.
